Seven Street Lights in Taman Sari Repaired

Taman Sari Sub-distrit Bina Marga Task Force repaired 7 street lights (PJUs) in 7 different locations. After repaired it, personnel also monitored PJUs routinely.

Most lights are damaged due to heavy rain

Bina Marga Task Force Head, Shely Sapta Budyana mentioned, her side repaired 7 JPUs on Jl. Kemurnian VI, Jl. Kerajinan I, Jl. Kebon Jeruk III, Jl. Kebon Jeruk II, Jl. Kebon Jeruk I, Jl. Kebon Jeruk V, and Jl. Kebon Jeruk VII. Those PJUs were repaired to follow up residents' request submitted through CRM application.

"Most lights are damaged due to heavy rain. Short circuit often occurs in rainy season. Some smart system street lights turn off easily," she explained, Wednesday (3/10).

Moreover, her side also detected damaged in smart system lights' network from special application in Bina Marga Sub-agency. That application is connected with monitor screen at West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency. That post directly monitored PJUs thus her side could detect immediately when the lights went out.

"There are various repair, if the armarture is damaged, the lamp should be removed and repaired by vendor who owned the lamp brand. It takes 3 days to 2 weeks to repair it. But if the damage is in the system, we can repair it immediately," she said.

Lights checking and repair were carried out by 4 personnel using cars with stairs and ampere to check electric current.

"We hope to finish the repair today. Thus road users and pedestrians can feel safe and comfortable," she closed.
